A Study on the Conflict Management Mode of Nurse

Abstract
|
|
|
The purpose of this study was to investigate the conflict management mode of nurse ; to identify the factor of the conflict management, and the relation between the factor of the conflict management and the general characteristics of Nurse.
During the period from NOV. 17, 1994, to NOV. 21, 1994, the data used in this study were collected from 111 Nurses working at H hospital in Seoul.
The results of this study were as follows:
1. The conflict management mode of nurse had the moderate mean score.
The factor analysis on the conflict management mode of nurse was classified 4 factors: Avoidance-accommodation, collaboration-compromise, competition-accommodation, persuation-accommodation. The collaboration-compromise factor was the highest among four factors.
2. The relation between the conflict management mode of nurse and general characteristics of nurse was no significant difference.
